Well we didn’t have Jack Nicholson shouting “Here’s Jonny” but we did have Commander Shaw welcoming us to the Gathering and the Rally Family. We had turned to the dark side and gone East to Deranged new facility in Epping. Jason at Deranged had laid on some superb food plenty of beer, Cider,Prosecco and soft drinks so a huge thanks for his continuing support for RFH. Good to see and meet most of the Newbies as well the veterans. Down to business and Directors and the admin team are introduced apologies for Mick n Paula and Mark n Melissa. Outlined explanation of the event and procedures and what is expected of everyone. Right where are we going then, Benn addresses the family and outlines the route from Dover Castle to Budapest and back. We will be overnighting in some fantastic hotels and picturesque Cities where the food is alledgedly awesome. It appears that the real fun and driving roads begin after our 2 nights and Riverboat ride in Budapest is done and dusted. Old Favourites such as Grossglockner and Stelvio are on the me and you. Finally leaving Chamonix we head up to Paris for our final night and an end of rally fancy dress party. Along the way there will be some surprises but these are being carefully hidden for now.
